Mary Paterson is a writer and producer based in London. Along with Maddy Costa and Diana Damian Martin, she runs the collaborative projects Something Other and The Department of Feminist Conversations. She is currently co-editing, with Roberta Mock, a book on the artist Joshua Sofaer, to be published by Intellect Live in 2019. She is a co-author of Dear Stranger I Love You (Live Art Development Agency & Lancaster University Press, 2013), a publication about documenting socially engaged art, and was one of the co-curators of the 2013 symposium at Birkbeck, University of London, Beyond Glorious: The Radical in Socially Engaged Practices.
