Jessica O’Donnell is Head of Education and Community Outreach at Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane. Since joining the Hugh Lane in 2000, she has also worked in the capacity of Collections Curator/Acting Head of Collections. Through the curation of in-focus exhibitions drawn from the collection and dynamic artist-led art education programmes she has sought to create enjoyable opportunities for collaboration and engagement with the city’s foremost modern and contemporary art collection. She has published widely and her book Discover Art (2007) was short-listed for the CBI Children’s Book of the Year Award.
