Dr. Eve Olney
Dr Eve Olney is an independent researcher-practitioner who explores her subjects through experimental ethnographic research. Research interests include challenging normalised knowledge and value structures by revealing and challenging oppressive everyday practices and exploring the complicity of Art/Architecture in legitimating neo-liberal ideologies and rationales. She is lead curator /producer of the collective project ArtˑArchitectureˑActivism – a curatorial model that employs art practice and exhibition as an interface for activism and initiating social projects around precarious living conditions. She is researcher of Athenian-based urban activist group Urban React involved in Collective Design housing projects. She teaches cultural/political theory across Art, Architecture programmes.
