Anna Furse
Professor Anna Furse is Professor of Theatre and Performance, Goldsmiths, University of London where she directs the international laboratory MA in Performance Making, is co-director of The Centre of the Body and curates the Performance Research Forum. She is currently completing a Digital Commission from Create, Ireland as part of CAPP a transnational programme co-funded by Creative Europe Programme of the EU in collaboration with Athletes of the Heart and Live Collision I’m Not a Piece of Meat (June 2018), that elaborates on the research and ideas for her production of Anatomy Act, as well as her interdisciplinary talks series Interiority: An Exploration of the Inward Gaze, co-curated by Dawn Kemp, Director of Museums and Archives, The Royal College of Surgeons. These brought artists, cultural theorist and medical scientists together to discuss the topic at The Old Operating Theatre Museum and The Freud Museum in London in 2017, and were funded by The Wellcome Trust.
