Jake Ryan is a filmmaker, photographer and artist-educator who specialises in creatively documenting and delivering socially engaged art processes and workshops. For the last five years Jake has been documenting the work of the Tate Liverpool learning team and collaborating with artists on a variety of community projects and educational courses including the Tate Collective, Family Collective, Making Sense of Art, and O.K. – The Musical. Jake has recently delivered Jumpstart, an eight week course for young people at Tate and is currently producing work for Manchester Art Gallery and Heart of Glass.
